Mall. Interior
The Goodlife shopping center is primarily oriented towards visitors who live in the nearest residential areas. As such, it combines a retail block with essential goods, premium segment products, and a food court with cafes and restaurants.
The project itself partly involves the reconstruction of an old industrial frame building with beautiful exposed reinforced concrete beams. Hence, the idea of creating a "loft" style interior for the shopping center was born. At the request of the client to create a "warm and welcoming" interior while taking into account the small area of the shopping center, a concept was developed that combined wood and concrete. However, during the project's development, the idea of leaving the concrete in its original state had to be abandoned. The reason is that all existing reinforced concrete structures were covered with a large number of engineering communications. Therefore, it was decided to finish the surfaces with decorative plaster that imitates concrete. To create the effect of wooden cladding on walls and columns, HPL panels from Fundermax in Creek 0927 decor were used. The panels were divided into planks that excellently imitate wooden boards.
